Settings found in the Customizations view are not persistent. Winhance applies these changes once, but it does not use background tasks to re-apply them if they are changed later by Windows or by you manually.
Windows Theme
Choose between Light and Dark mode for Windows and apps. This setting affects both the Windows shell (taskbar, Start Menu) and supported applications.
Options: Light Mode, Dark Mode
Note: Winhance also supports detecting a "Custom" state where apps and system use different themes.

Registry Values Explained:
- AppsUseLightTheme: Controls the theme for Windows apps (UWP apps, Settings, etc.)
- SystemUsesLightTheme: Controls the theme for Windows shell (taskbar, Start Menu, notification center)
Enable translucent effects for the Start Menu, taskbar, and other Windows interface elements. This includes acrylic blur effects on Windows 10 and mica effects on Windows 11.
Note: Disabling transparency can improve performance on lower-end hardware.
